Christmas Appeal

Each year the Glenrothes “Y” ask the public for donations. Glenrothes YMCA-YWCA is one of the biggest supporters of homeless people in Fife . We help the homeless and disadvantaged with information & advice, access to emergency food parcels, hot drinks, warm clothing, showers and laundry facilities.

We can't begin to imagine how hard it is for people who have no heating, or have to spend a lot of time outdoors (like the Big Issue Vendors), or even in some cases who are sleeping rough.

We would like to appeal to the people of Fife to help us in supporting the most vulnerable in our community. Please remember us while preparing for Christmas, by making a donation of any of the following items for male or female (which are the bare necessities for most, but can be a luxury to the very disadvantaged):

Hats, scarves, gloves, boxer shorts/underwear, socks, shower gel, shampoo, body-spray.

Donations can be handed in (preferably unwrapped) to the Glenrothes YMCA-YWCA in North Street , Monday to Friday, 9.00 am - 4.00 pm.

Fife people have always been very generous even in the most difficult times. Please help us to share the true spirit of Christmas.
