More about D.E.L.T.A.

A large majority of young drug users do not perceive their drug use as problematic and in many cases this is true. It is recognised that the majority of this drug use will be experimental or recreational. However, there are many problems which may arise from this form of drug use. DELTA focusses its work on such groups and it is in these categories that the majority of drug users fall. Education can enable young people to look at physical, psychological and social implications of using particular drugs, including alcohol and tobacco, enabling individuals to make informed choices.

The DELTA team consists of a Project Manager, an Administrator and a number of Learning and Development Workers. All workers are professionally qualified (with Degree level qualifications) and all have undergone enhanced disclosure checks. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and non-judgemental approach.

DELTA is part of the Glenrothes YMCA-YWCA organisation.
